PT MSI Starts The Eearly Step Of Collaboration Opportunities With PT Sambut Berkah Abah

Kolaka , February 15th 2023 - PT Motor Sights International through survey team from The Customer Representative Department collaborates with Operations Department implements site survey activities at PT Sambut Berkah Abah (PT SBA) site of PT Akar Mas which is in the Pomala District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi.

This site survey activity is one of the first steps taken by PT MSI to find out the potential possessed by PT SBA as a potential customer. So that PT MSI is able to provide the best recommendations to prospective customers, both in terms of increased production or revenue as well as recommendations for types of Motor Sights Dump Truck units that are in accordance with the conditions of the work area.

This site survey activity was carried out for two days. PT MSI survey team arrived at the location on Wednesday (15/2) around 13:00 WITA. The team started the survey by collecting primary data which was carried out directly in the field along the path of PT SBA's work area.

During the process of collecting this primary data, the survey team conducted a review of the condition of the hauling road, the distance, and the size of PT SBA's working area. There are three methods used to collect data directly in the field, namely direct observation of the analyzed object, direct interviews with PT SBA, and also mapping of work areas.

Important information that was collected by the survey team during direct field observations was the condition of the PT SBA hauling road. Starting from the width of the road, the geometry of the road, and also the layer or base material on the hauling route. This information will be one of the important considerations in determining the type of Motor Sights Dump Truck unit that is suitable for their job site. So that Motor Sights Dump Trucks are able to provide positive value to increase production in the long term.

"The distance for transporting PT SBA's ore from ETO to the Jetty is around 4 KM. The furthest distance is 7 KM, and that is if we get a request to transport ore from other contractors, because only PT SBA is in charge of the ore transportation project at the PT Akar Mas site," said Mr. Aris as the person in charge of PT SBA's operations.

Furthermore, Thursday (16/2) the survey team returned to meet PT SBA management to convey PT MSI's prospects and explain in detail that PT MSI was here not only to offer the Motor Sights Dump Truck Unit, but also to offer a solution package to them.

The solution package in question is that PT MSI also presents a Technical Support team that will assist mechanics in carrying out maintenance of the Motor Sights Dump Truck Unit. Procurement of a spare part warehouse can also be carried out by PT MSI at the PT SBA site to support and meet the needs for spare parts.

In addition, PT MSI will also present experienced trainers to conduct special training on how to operate the unit properly and correctly for PT SBA drivers. Not only that, as a form of cooperation with PT SBA, PT MSI will continue to monitor their progress, both in terms of unit productivity and evaluation of the drivers who operate the Motor Sights Dump Truck unit.

Also in this session, the survey team conducted an open discussion with PT SBA. The goal is to get information about issues or problems being faced in the process of increasing production.

The results of the site survey for the two days will be analyzed and compiled by the Customer Representative team to become a Site Survey Report. This report will serve as a guideline for compiling a Customer Solution Book, so that the total solution packages provided are in accordance with PT SBA's needs as PT MSI potential customer in the future.
